5 hours after our CONVOY from Springfield, VA, we finally arrived at Springfest with a much smaller group then originally. But hey, shit happens and the show must go on! Everyone eventually made it to the event though, so happy ending for everyone.

Sumospeed’s Springfest is officially GGC’s annual road trip event now, with it being our 2nd year in a row. This year was a huge jump up from last year, because the cars in attendance had to have been twice last year’s. As you can tell, there was much to cover so just enjoy the pictures because they’re worth more then any of the nonsense that I string together.

Back at it again! – This past weekend, Lobster and I took a road trip down to VA for Sumospeed Springfest 3. We really enjoyed last year’s event so we couldn’t wait to see what they had in store for this year. As usual, we met up with our buddy Mark and Xclusiv: Alliance in Springfield, VA to convoy down to the show in Virginia Beach. We also had a few guys from Liberty Vip roll with us this year, which was pretty cool!

Miatas roll out! Me and 2 other Miata buddies [I swear it's not the rainbow crew] met up at 7:30 am at a Queens gas station. I picked up a quick breakfast snacks to fuel up after a mere 4 hours of sleep. VROOM VROOM start ‘em up! We tore through the highway [as fast as a Miata can anyways]
*Tip to people convoying to events, don’t follow the kid with a loud exhaust. You’ll get a headache and lose all feeling in your body.

Start them off young:

Eurofest 2012

So no one told me there was a difference between MetLife Stadium and Mets Stadium. I was standing in the Mets Citifield parking lot for an hour before going back home and checking my friends’ Facebook statuses saying how awesome Eurofest 2012 was. FML.

Ok I kid. I’m not that stupid and no one should be that dumb either. I just didn’t go, but our photographer Hobbes did, and trekked out with Petrol Werks to get some pretty sick coverage. Also a youtube video coverage of the event all the way on the bottom.

Look at this beauty. Infinity really lived up to their concept of making a pure looking car. The simplicity of it all lets you focus on the lines flowing from throughout the G. A lot of G’s out there go crazy with the mods, but this one catches my eye with the factory look slightly infused with a ménage à trois of stance, fitment and cleaniness. Well done.

This is my 1999 Chevrolet prizm. Basically its a 1999 corolla with a diffrent front end, rear end, and diffrent interior colors. I lowered it on some ksport coilovers. Its on Trd 16″ rims wrapped in Yokohama S.Drives (205/45/165). I have the trd exhaust from a 9th gen. corolla on it.
